Promotion

Well, something new at work finally happened! I'm quite excited about it, cause hopefully now i won't just be sitting there at work and twiddling my thumbs, but i will actually be doing something.
Last weekend, I was asked to become a MSR. For those of you who don't know what that is or means, its Member Service Representative. In other words a Loan Officer. But i was asked to go back and work in American Fork. I was shocked that the time was finally here, cause i knew i was next in line for the position, but i was also shocked that it would be in AF. So i had all weekend to think about it, and i was kind of stressing out, cause i really did not want to go back to AF. I finally got to Highland, and then they send me away again. I was sick of moving, so here i go again to move.
Anyway, I told them i would do it, but asked if there was anyway that i could stay here in Highland and be the MSR. Well Thursday came, and Stacey, my manager, went and talked to Jay, our boss, about it. I got a call that afternoon saying that I was to become a MSR......and i would be staying in Highland! I was so excited! I was practically beaming!
So I got my promotion, and i start training tomorrow. I hope that i will be able to remember everything. I am kind of nervous about it, but I'm way excited! And I was just expecting to get my own desk, but if Highland they just have offices! SO...I get my own office too! It will be weird, but so fun!

A great accomplishment!

So i haven't really done anything on here in a while, it's cause my life has kind of become boring! HA! But this past week has been full of events! On Tuesday i had an enrichment planned. I am the Enrichment Leader in my ward, so i plan all the enrichments...with my committee! Anyway we planned a dating panel to have with the guys! It was fun! It is so fun to listen to what people think about dating and their different views towards it. Hopefully the people that went to it, got a lot out of it. Cause our ward needs help! :D

Wednesday my work has an Annual Meeting(party) that we go to and members come too, and they serve dinner and give prizes and just have fun with one another.

This weekend i was able to finish paying off my car!! I was so excited to finally have that done! It took me 2 and a half years! I was so excited! And i still am! It feels so good to have done that! NO MORE DEBT! YES!!! What a great accomplishment! It is not my first one. I was able to pay for a 3 week trip i went on when i was just out of high school! That i thought was amazing.....paying off a car is so much more! No more payments! Now what car should i get next........? HAHA NOT! Let's start saving money now ya?

Listening

Well I've come to realize that in my group of friends that i have....I'm the one they come to talk to. Mostly about their guy problems or stories. I love to listen to them and I'm always there for them...but when they always come for advice on what to do....it makes me wonder. I've had guys come up to me to get advice for one of my friends. It's never for me, just for others. Weird i know! ;D It's like they think I'm all knowing on relationships and what to do to talk to someone or ask someone on a date. I think it's quite funny...seeing how I've never dated anyone or have had any of this experience. But i sure do learn a lot from everyone. So now when someone comes up to me and asks for advice, i just tell them what i would do, but i really don't know what i would do, cause i have never done it! Why do they do that? It's been happening a lot lately and it just makes me laugh. I just don't get it. I don't think i really help all that much, all i really do is listen and they talk, but i really don't know what to say to them. It's hard sometimes, cause i really want to help them out, but i don't think i really do with my non-experienced answers.

Anyway, besides that(sorry just had to get that off my chest) I finally found out that i will be moving to the Highland Office for my work. I'm quite excited. Some things about it will drive me crazy, but i will just have to live through it! It will save me tons of gas...cause it's just 2 min. away from my house! I could ride my bike to work too! It's just that close. I start there on Friday and we officially open on Monday...hopefully if we get everything situated on Friday! So I'm off to my next adventure. Lets hope it goes well! Wish me luck!

New Years!!!

Wow! I can't believe 2009 is all ready here! Last year has flown by so fast! Not really alot has happened, really. I moved back home from Provo, transfered offices from Orem to American Fork for my job. I've been getting really close to paying off my car, but that will be my big accomplishment for this year!! My Grammy did pass away this year, and that was really hard on all of us! But i'm so grateful for her to be burried here in American Fork, where i can visit her. I have missed her so much, and i will always miss her! I was able to participate in the Womens Chior for the General Relief Socitey Meeting. That was awesome! And i felt that my Grammy was proud of me for being able to do that...especially with my mother!

Christmas was great! I have my sister and her family up here in town. I will miss them, wherever they move to. New Years Eve was way fun! I had some friends come over and we went to Temple Square to see the lights and then came back home and played games! Here are some pictues! It was a good way to end a year! I LOVE Temple Square!

Well every year me and my family have a tradition of making gingerbread houses. This year we decided to make a village! Every year my house always has problems. I don't know what it is, we use the same frosting and stuff, but mine always have problems! Grr! so here is the before part......
