Really a New Year??

Where did 2009 go? That year went by so very fast, i don't even think i had time to enjoy it! haha :) Or maybe i did. Lets see....what was the main thing that happened last year?? 


*I was moved to the new HIGHLAND Branch for Alpine Credit Union. 
*I became a LOAN OFFICER, or MSR, which ever you prefer. 
*Lived at HOME with my Parents and Brother, Brandon. 
*Watched while my Brother fall in LOVE with Carolyn. 
*Helped my best friend Aislynn get ENGAGED. Sent her off to get married! ;) 
*Got my FIRST KISS! 
*Got my first BREAK-UP! 
*Turned 22 in September! 
*Moved OUT to Orem for a few months. 
*Took my FIRST PLANE RIDE in May to visit my sister, Angela, in Nebraska. 
*Took my SECOND plane ride in October to visit my Aunt and Uncle and Cousins in Idaho. 
*Got a NIECE in October. 
*Moved back home from a DISASTER experience living in Orem. 
*Watched my Brother get married! 
*PAYED OFF MY CAR!! 
*Became a Relief Society TEACHER.
*Went from a long BLONDE hair girl, to a short dark BROWN haired girl. 


That's pretty much the main big things that has happened this past year! I know next year will bring as many events as this one. I'm quite excited for 2010! I brand new year to start over! haha I know it will start off great! Let's hope it will end great as well!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I just wanted to tell you all to have such a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!! I hope that we all can remember the real reason of Christmas, and not get caught up in the presents and shopping. Remember that Christ is the real reason we celebrate Christmas. His birth in a stall, with his mother Mary and father Joseph. Make sure we center our Christmas around Christ.

Don't Worry!!

Don't worry! I am still here! I know you all were wondering where I have gone off to! ;) HaHa Totally kidding! It's been busy lately and i haven't had time to get on here!

Thanksgiving was great! We had all but one sibling from my Dad's family here for Thanksgiving. It was crazy but so much fun! We never do get to see them that often, so its good when we do. My Grandpa Marcus past away as well that week, so while we had everyone here for Thanksgiving, we got to have them here for his funeral. It was a great funeral. He now is up in Heaven with my Grammy! I miss them both!

Other than that i have been getting ready for this Christmas Holiday and just trying to stay busy at work. Hopefully it will get more busy with Christmas coming around.....or not. I love being home again. Especially to be there and see all the excitement, and to give my parents some company! We will DEFINITELY be missing all the family who won't be with us the Season.

I will try to get some new pictures up on my other blog for you all to enjoy. Now that it snowed i can get some pretty pictures, and not just of dead trees! ;)

New Blog

So I wanted you all to know that I have another blog as well as this one. My other blog I got the idea from my brother and I took him up on it! It's a blog of all my photography! I really want to become a photographer and so this is just my start! I'll just put pictures on the blog and hope to recieve comments on them and then maybe it will become a portfolio or something that will help me later on! I'm all about the digital photography. Plane ride #2!

It took me a while to put this on here but I'm finally here! My trip this time was to Idaho! ;) My Aunt Kalynne and Uncle Brad flew me out to their house in Post Falls to babysit their kids while they went to a conference thing in Chicago. So i got to go on another plane ride! Never knew i would ride so many in one year after never having been on one before! Anyway it was a lot of fun. I got the window seat on the way there but it was cloudy the whole time as you can see in the picture. I really enjoyed going out there. I got to see a lot of what my relatives do and where they live. We don't see them very often so it was good to visit with them for a weekend! Kalynne didn't end up going with Brad to Chicago for a few reasons. But i still helped with baby Mason and cleaned the house while she got a things done that she needed to. It was fun to hang out with the kids. Camille and her friend went to a stake dance dressed up for Halloween, and i got to do her hair. It was fun to be able to do things and help out with things like that! It was a very well needed vacation from my work and everything! Thanks Kalynne and Brad!!

Next item of business....I've moved back home! :) That's right you heard me. I have told my parents that when i moved out that i wasn't coming back. Little did i know that i had to take that remark back and hide it under my bed! ;) I did a lot of thinking in Idaho about what i needed to do. I wasn't happy where i was living and my mom gave me the option of moving back home. So i thought about it and i came back home. I've been here about a week now. I just couldn't take my roommates anymore. I was done being their "little mom". I wanted to be somewhere where i would feel welcome and not out of the loop and not be their little care taker who would clean up after their messes! I would try not to, and just let the dishes sit, or leave stuff all over the counter and floor, but i could only take so much. After a while i would just end up doing it anyway, even if it wasn't my stuff just so that we would have a clean apartment. I was ALWAYS doing the cleaning. I'm the only one with a full time job, so they have plenty of time to clean themselves, but nope. They wait till i get home or on the weekends while they are all still sleeping from their late night and let me clean up after them. I WAS DONE! Let them figure it out themselves of how it's supposed to be done.

So I'm glad to be back home, loving having my own room back! I can actually get dressed with the light on and make as much noise as i want without waking anybody up!!! :) I'm going back to my old singles ward. I went there last week and i felt so very welcome. I haven't felt that at a ward in about 2 months!! Sad i know! But this is my ward, my home. So we will just have to wait and see what life has in store for me next!

My hair extravagansa!!

I just thought i would put on here pictures of all of my changes in my hair starting about 4 years ago! I have had a lot of fun with all my experiments that i have done with my hair! I started with chemically straightening my hair, then i decided to keep growing out my hair, i have never had long hair, and it's the longest i have ever had it. Then i decided to cut it a little bit and color it darker! I have always wanted to go brown, just to see how i would look like it! So I've slowly gotten there! And now I'm finally there!! Thought you would all enjoy!

Conference Weekend

So conference weekend was amazing! I loved every minute of it! All the talks were amazing and the best part was that i was able to go up the canyon and take some pictures of the fall colors! My favorite season of the year! It was really busy up the canyon, and it was crazy and i couldn't find a spot to myself, but i did get some good pictures! Hope you enjoy!

Update

Wow it has been a really long time since i have posted anything on here! I'm sorry about that, cause i know i have fans just checking everyday to see if i have posted anything! haha Totally Kidding!!! ;)

Anyway, where to start...hmmm...well i now live in Orem. I moved there on the 21st of August. My roommates...well they are very interesting. The girl i share my room with, Melissa, is from Orange County, California! ;D She is really nice, and yes is LDS. She is still different, but way nice. The girl across the hall, Bryn, is very interesting. She has a different lifestyle but is trying to be better. I don't think i have ever met anyone with more drama in their life than her! The girls down the hall, Natalie and Jenna, are fresh out of high school and first time living on their own. They are fun girls, but can get pretty crazy. Then across from them is Andy. She isn't a member, but she is way nice. She plays on the UVU girls soccer team.

I have gotten to know the girls a little better seeing how I'm at my apartment more than usual, with my recent break up with AJ. So I'm still adjusting being there all the time, and having nothing to do to occupy my time.

My birthday was really good. I had to work, but they gave me balloons and made me a very yummy "BTS" cake! Oh it was so good! (Keep in mind i was still dating AJ at this point) After work i got home and found a dozen roses on the counter for me! So very pretty! AJ took me out to dinner and then we went to a park and he hid little flashing markers with numbers on them. I had to find them and then opened the present pertaining to that number. There were 8 of them, but most of them were just gag gifts! The best present was earrings and a ring to match that had my birthstone in them. They are way pretty! After that his sister invited us to go see a dollar movie, so we went and watched UP!! Loved that movie, it was way cute! I had a very good 22nd birthday.

But then a week after my birthday, AJ broke up with me, cause he needs to focus more on school. Hopefully we can still be friends, so far it's not looking so good. But I can live through it and keep my head up high!

Now I'm trying to figure out a new hobby to occupy my time and keep me busy! It's hard, but i think i might start just drive around and take pictures! Who knows! We will see!!

Move

Well I have moved again! ;) I moved out this weekend into an apartment in Orem. I just seem to like to move around! But it will be interesting that is for sure! The past two times I have moved out, I wasn't really nervous about who I would be living with. The first time was in St. George and I had faith in my sister to put me with some good girls. The second time was in Provo with my best friend Aislynn. So I was fine there! But now....it's like I'm going in blind folded! I was planning on moving out with my other best friend Nicole. But she decided that she needed to save money and plan for a wedding. I mean seriously who does that?? HAHA J/K!

Anyway, so I still decided to move out even though she wasn't coming with me. When I walked into the apartment, I expected it to be clean and that everybody was moving in at once. Well that's not how it was. It was dirty and there were dishes all over the counters and there were 3 girls living there previously. 1 was on her way out, but 2 were staying. So now I'm sharing a room with a complete stranger! I haven't met her yet, her boxes are all over her bed, but she hasn't been around, maybe today or tomorrow I will meet her. So I'm kind of nervous! I don't know what it's like to room with someone I don't even know! It will be an experience let me tell you!

My other roommates are nice! 2 are fresh out of high school, one is from Oregon playing soccer for UVU and is in her Junior year of college. Another one is quite interesting. She is going to school for Criminal Justice, but has her different issues...like have to be in jail from Saturday morning at 2 till Sunday at 5. Her dad bailed her out with a large payment. Something about a warrant and not paying a ticket put her in there! But she is really nice, and told me that she wanted to go back to church and be better, so I told her I would drag her along with me! We will see what happens there!

So I'm back living on my own, and so far it's been interesting! I'm hardly there anyways, cause I'm working and at AJ's or something. But it will be fun. It helps me feel more responsible again in some ways. I don't' really know how to explain it. I just feel more grown up i guess. Now I'm just on my way to turn 22 and it will be a blast! Let's hope anyways! ;)

Next...My brothers wedding!

My last sibling to get married! My brother Brandon. We have come close this past year and a half since he has been home from his mission! I'm so happy for him to find such an amazing girl to keep him happy! The wedding was beautiful, and i had the opportunity to be the photographer for the wedding. I'm not pro or anything, but i tried my best, and they didn't turn out to bad. Here are some of my favorite pictures i took down below!

Brandon and Carolyn are now off in San Diego for 3 months while she is in sea school with the navy, then after she is done with that they will ship them and all of their belongings to HAWAII for 5 years! What an adventure for them!

My best friend Aislynn and her husband Sean got married yesterday! It was such a beautiful day! I was so happy to see them married! They looked so happy and I'm so proud of them! I have known Aislynn since 3rd grade and we have grown so much closer throughout the past years! It was a long but beautiful day!

4-Wheeling

What an adventure! :D I had so much fun 4-weeling with AJ this weekend! We went up to 5 Mile Pass...for those of you who don't know where that is...it's passed Eagle Mountain and almost to Stockton and Tooele. Clear out there! But it was so much fun! We were only able to take one 4-wheeler, but it was still fun! AJ drove at first, but then he let me drive the rest of the time we were out there! I loved it!! It was a lot of fun. I think we might be going out again this weekend! We will see! Here are some pictures!

Lehi Rodeo and 4th of July

So I'm a little late putting the Lehi Rodeo on here...but here they are! My two Rodeo buddies! Katie and AJ! We had such a blast! It was so much fun...until the allergies hit! Got to love that! Oh well! I survived! Thanks guys!

For the 4th, my family had a breakfast were AJ came and I finally got to meet my future sister-in-law! She is the cutest thing ever! I finally get to have a "little sister"! Literally! She is shorter and younger than me! haha It's a little joke we have going around the family! We went up the canyon to take some of their engagement pictures! Here is one of them! They are so cute!

My dad even had to take some of me and AJ for my aunt to see us! Apparently the word is going around my extended family that i have a boy now! haha it's quite funny actually! But we had a blast!

I really wanted one of me and Brandon, so we got a couple, this one is one of my favorites! Cause it's so us! I love my brother! He is awesome! We have grown a lot closer together, since he has been off his mission! I love it! We two go to stick together living with our parents! haha just kidding mom and dad!

I have never seen an accident in real life. It has always been on tv. It was different being so close to him and watching it. They finally did get him off the horse and he layed on the ground for a while, but he did get up and walk off. Probably with a dislocated shoulder though. Poor guy!

The bull fighters are brave souls! Not one cowboy stayed on their bull for 8 seconds, but the bull fighters got up close and personal with a few of the bulls! I could never do that! It was amazing! None of them got hurt, but they were probably just being macho! haha

My Week's Excitement!

So i have been fortunate to drive a beautiful car this week! Though it does have Arizona licence plates, i'm still loving it! ;) My car became friends with a suburban a couple of weeks ago. While i was at work, some guy came to Ace Hardware and accidently backed up into my car! He must have hit it on an angle because it shifted the hood and bumper to the right(if you are looking at the front of my car). He pushed up my bumper to be over my gril, cracked the fenders and a plate behind my light...or something. Scratched up the paint on the bumper and pushed my light in.

He was very kind to come and find me. He gave me all of his information and told me he was sorry! So his insurance is paying for.....EVERYTHING!!! They are paying for the repairs which will cost almost 2 thousand dollars. They are paying for the rental...which is awesome!

I have always liked Mazda 3 cars! So they just happen to give me one to drive for a week! It's like they are meaning to tourture me or something. Cause it's going to be really hard to give it back! I especially love the color of it. I should have taken the picture of it while it was outside of my garage, but oh well! I just wanted to show you all what i'm driving for a week! I love it!!! Anyone have any ideas on how i can convince them to just take my Focus and i will keep the Mazda??

Rodeo Season!!

I LOVE going to rodeos! I don't know what it is about them, but i just love going to them! My absolute most favorite event is bull riding! I think i have been hooked ever since me and my dad would watch the PBR Bull Riding on TV! I just love it! So I recently went to the Strawberry Day's rodeo with Katie and AJ! It was a lot of fun! We are going to the Lehi Rodeo this Saturday too...so i will put more pics on. Anyway, i did a video of a bull rider! and it was one of the two or three that actually stayed on for the whole 8 seconds! It was awesome!

Family Reunion

So it took me a while to get this up....but here I am! We had so much fun up American Fork Canyon....even though we did get rained on practically the whole time! There was once even a

time where we were right underneath the thunderstorm! The thunder was so loud!!! It was awesome! But I was lucky enough
to have to sleep in a tent...instead of a trailer...so if the lightning

started a forest fire...i was going to be out of luck!

We had a tribe challenge out in the parking lot...so we set up a bunch of chairs for the contestants! We had so much fun! It was such a blast! We also had a fire going the whole three days! Never was it not going! It was like the Olympic Torch! Thanks dad for being the "Keeper of the Flame"!
