Omaha!

It has taken me a week to do this, but i'm finally here! I went and stayed with my sister a week and a half ago, and i had a very well needed vacation! It was great! It was also my first plane ride!! :D Exciting i know...but flying in a plane i decided is not all as its cracked up to be! I was lightheaded the whole time on my way to Nebraska. It was cool however to be so high in the air. It felt somewhat normal. Probably from all the people i have talked to and all the pictures i have seen. I was right next to the wing...so i couldn't see right underneath of me. It was still way cool.

I had to take a picture of me on the plane...but i wasn't really expecting to get anyone in the pic with me. Good thing she was asleep! :D

I got to Omaha and met Angie and Tyson and i got to finally see their house! I have seen many pictures...but its always different in person. It was so nice to be there. The only thing that drove me crazy was that there was no reception in her house for my phone! Don't worry i survived with out it...luckily we went into town a lot! haha j/k! We went to the Lewis and Clark monument and took some cool pics of Omaha from the look out point.

After we took the pictures, i had an idea to take pictures of licence plates of the states i visited while was on this trip. But i had to do it very sneaky so that no one would think i was doing something bad! ;) I only took pics of the state...honest! I had absolutly no numbers or letters! So here are the 4 states i visited while I was here for a week....

I was also able to go to a Omaha Royals Baseball game! It was fun...we lost by one point, and i got to watch drunk people! haha I'm a people watcher...and they are just funny to watch and how they can be so oblivious of what they are doing! The day we went it was Thirsty Thursdays so, all beer was $1! I don't think i have ever seen so many people drinking! We went to a diner called The Hollywood Diner. It was very cool. I had a deep fried grilled cheese sandwich! It was pretty tasty...but i drank alot of water too! I also made a few friends.....

This lady had a cigarette in one hand and makeup in another hand! No wonder she made a wrong turn!

Me and Angie travelled down to Kansas City to go to the Worlds of Fun Amusment Park. It was so much fun! They had alot of big rollercoasters, and it was just hillarious to watch Angie have so much fun with it. She hadn't been to an amusement park in over 6 years! So I felt special that i was able to give her the opportunity to go to one!

It was such a fun amusement park! we got really hot and wore ourselves out! But oh it was so so so worth it! After that we went on our way home stopping at an animal refuge and seeing the wildlife there! So cool! We had a BBQ for memorial day and i was asked by a little kid if i had a baby in my tummy! If he was older i would have been offended! But i just laughed it off and tickled him. Telling him kindly that i do not have a baby in my tummy like his mommy does. Then after that i just kept reminding myself to suck in my stomach! haha

The flight home was better than the flight there. I took some medicine that helped me sleep most of the way. I was able to fly above the clouds while the people below me were being rained on! It was so cool! I have always wanted to do that and see what it would look like above a storm. It was awesome!

I had such a fun week with my sister! It was a very much well needed vacation that i recieved! Thanks Angie!

Something new....again!

Do you think that i can't stop doing my hair! :D Don't worry i can! But i needed a change for the summer! And what a drastic change it was! I wasn't expecting it to be this short, but I'm really starting to LOVE it! I just did it yesterday, and i haven't been able to stop touching it today! haha It's so weird to stop so suddenly instead of keep going. I have never been able to say that i CHOPPED my hair off......UNTIL NOW! I CHOPPED MY HAIR OFF! It was so long! I was so proud of myself of how long I had it. But it's so good to have a change! My head feels so much lighter, she also thinned it out too, so it's even lighter. Or it's because i have been sick since Sunday so it might just be that i'm light headed or something! I hate being sick. You can kind of tell in this picture, that i don't look so right! haha my eyes are puffy, and i think before or after this picture i almost coughed my lungs out! :D I know you all wanted to know that! It's been gross! But hopefully i will get better soon, and stop coughing! It's giving me a headache!

But i'm so excited for my new haircut! Here i come summer!! :D

Easter!

We had such a good Easter party at my Grandma's house. It's tradition every year that we all get together the Saturday before Easter, and have a Easter egg hunt, put a few holes in a pinata, and toss(which leads to throwing) eggs! It's alot of fun!

This year my brother and I had the opportunity to hide the eggs. We hide them outside in her yard. We had SO many eggs this year! It was crazy! Me and Brandon didn't know what to do with them all so we got creative!

We really liked out art work! It took Andrew, my cousin, about 5 minutes to get them all out! I had fun taking pictures! I needed some pics of our hard work before it disappeared in about 10 min from all the kids! Here are some more pics.

Basketball

So last weekend was an eventful one for me. My single's ward took first place in our Stake Tournament so we went on to Region. Were we took third. It was alot of fun. Thursday we basically killed the team we played. It was really sad, but we had fun. Then Friday came. :D The gym we had to play in was really really small. We still played 5 on 5, i felt more like a football game then a basketball game. It was so hard to play, both teams were really aggressive, so it was really hard to play. We luckily won by two points. Got to love those buzzer shots! So we had another game later that night, but we had moved to a different church. This gym was a full size court. So it was REALLY hard to go from really small to big! We got worn out really fast! We played a good game but lost by 4 or 5 points. So saturday morning we had another game to determine if we would go to the final game or not. Well my team didn't get good sleep or eat breakfast, so we weren't really equipped to play a game! We played good, but again lost by 5 points. None of us could really make any of our shots. But at the end of the game, i had the ball and the timer was running out so i knew i had to shoot it. I didn't know that i was past the 3 point line. But i made the shot! Right at the buzzer! It didn't help of course but the whole team thought i was holding out on them the whole time! I told them that i don't shoot three's, and if i do, i hardly make them. So it was a shock to me! The picture of me shooting is my buzzer shot. Luckily brandon took it!

Later Saturday i went shopping with my best friend Aislynn. We shopped around until i had to take her to her surprise. A trail in PG where her boyfriend waited for us with horses. It was really cute! And yes they got engaged! It was so cute! It was really fun to look at wedding dresses with her before she even knew what was going on! It was a crazy weekend!

Growing up!

Well I've still been training to become a MSR for my job. But i forgot about one part that comes with it.....i also need to become a Notary! As some of you might know....for those who have heard about it....taking the Notary test is REALLY REALLY HARD!! I'm so excited about it. Ha! Catch the sarcasm??

Anyway so I'm studying my 50 page study guide right now, trying to remember everything and the wording and all it says so that i can take the test this week or the beginning of next. My boss prefers me to have this done before i become an official MSR. So I'm trying not to stress! My manager told me that she would help me, but I'm still nervous! I really shouldn't be. But it's hard when most of the people that have taken this test, has failed it their first time....and had people helping them. Does that tell you something??

Anyway so now, I'm studying for it, and preparing to know all this stuff, just so that i can stamp a piece of paper and sign it! :D

Other than that, my life now is just dandy! I was so excited for spring to come, i always am, but i seem to forget the part about spring that just kills me! Hay fever! The first week or two of it, just drives me insane! Saturday i had ran to the gym and ran back, but you see it was windy outside, so by the time i got home i was dying! My eyes were red and itchy and my nose was running and i couldn't stop sneezing! It was insane! I hate having hay fever! Cause all weekend long, i just randomly start crying...well my eyes water way bad! So people think there is something wrong with me! hahaha It's funny at first, but now its just plain annoying!

I wish the snow would stay away! I don't mind the rain. I love the rain! Just go away snow! Well I'm excited for this summer! First i get to go see my sister in May. She lives in Nebraska....so I'm flying there. NEVER been on a plane before so that will be a great adventure! I can't even wait!
